Chinese Man Kills Wife, ‘Carries Her Decapitated Head’ While Calmly Walking Through A Busy Alley
A man who allegedly murdered his wife was captured in CCTV footage walking through an alley while carrying her decapitated head. Chilling footage shows neighbors in the alley walking past and with the man but nobody seems to be freaking out.
The suspect, only known by its surname Zhang, reportedly killed his wife after a heated argument. He then severed her head and carried it outside the apartment before throwing it at a rubbish bin. He later surrendered himself to the authorities.
The 35-year-old suspect calmly walked along the busy street while holding her wife’s decapitated head.
In the video, neighbors can be seen walking along the same street in Kangle Vilage, Guangzhou’s Haizhu district. The suspect came out of a building where residents are said to be employees of nearby garment factories. Mr. Wang, one of the neighbors who saw the man, told reporters that he noticed Zhang walking and covered in blood.
Another neighbor named Mr. Zheng, who works as a sanitation worker, also discovered a decapitated head in the rubbish bin. The horrified Zheng then told the police about what he saw.
The headless body was then removed from the crime scene.
Police Then confirmed in a statement that the suspect had killed his wife, a 28-year-old woman known only by her surname, Xia. Not long after, Zhang was arrested for murder. Both suspect and victim were from Hebei Province in North China.
The crime scene has been sealed as police continue with the investigation. The head was later found at a waste transfer station and retrieved and was placed inside a cardboard box. Medical examiners were also called to the scene and they came back out with a stretcher presumed to be carrying the victim’s headless corpse.
Police are still working on the case.
