Firefighters Come To Bride And Groom’s Rescue After Their Trolley Bus Catches Fire
A recently wedded couple will have a story to tell their grandchildren after their big day was spared by the volunteer fire division.
The couple had quite recently said “I do” when they found the trolley transport that should take them to their gathering had burst into flames, as indicated by wreg.com news.
The Avon Volunteer Fire Department composed on their Facebook page on Saturday: “This evening, the AVFD was dispatched to West Avon Congregational Church for a transport fire. On entry, groups found a trolley transport with a motor compartment fire. It was thumped around a fire quencher the transport driver had.”

They proceeded: “On further examination, we understood the transport was for a wedding party. Our groups offered the lady of the hour and prep a ride to their gathering in Avon and they charitably acknowledged. Motor 14 with a group of four – Lt. Kaswer, Lt. Baldwin, Firefighter Costill, and Firefighter Del Gallo – had the awesome respect of fulfilling beyond any doubt the couple didn’t miss their own gathering.”
Gratefully for the couple, the kind firefighters ventured up and offered them a lift to their gathering, and the cheerful couple didn’t appear to mind and was grinning the whole way. Facebook clients remarked on the Avon Volunteer Fire Department’s Facebook page, saying, “Magnificent employment ! How significant that will be in the coming years … .. Avon Rocks !”
Another client stated, “Expectation this people groups to comprehend that firefighters go to work never realizing what their day will bring. This was an upbeat one. I am certain they are few and far between. Much thanks to You for your fearlessness and your graciousness remain safe.”
