Heather Locklear’s home is attacked by police following threats — Read More
According to a report from E! Online, police went to the home of former model and actress, Heather Locklear, following an incident where she threatened to shoot officers after an alleged domestic dispute on the 25th of February.
In the search warrant obtained by the publication and released by the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office, the 56-year-old actress allegedly claimed she would shoot and kill deputies if they ever came back.
Sergeant Eric Buschow, who was one of the arresting officers on the night of her detainment, said, “I don’t know when she got the handgun, but I do know that yes, she did make that statement to the police the night that she was arrested.”
It was because of the weapon and the threat that her home was searched with a warrant. Locklear wasn’t home while the authorities looked through her house, and they didn’t find the gun either.
As it was previously reported, Locklear found herself in trouble in Thousand Oaks, California, following a domestic violence dispute.
A spokesperson speaking on behalf of the Ventura County Sherrif’s Office stated they arrived at her home in Melrose Place around 10 pm because someone called the cops on account of a domestic disturbance.
When police began speaking with the suspects, Heather became increasingly agitated, uncooperative, and appeared to be intoxicated.
In addition to allegedly hitting her husband, she fought against three different police officers resulting in three counts of misdemeanor battery on a peace officer. As a response to all of the media attention last year when she entered rehab, Locklear released a statement where she said she was working on substance abuse issues and would be “tying up loose ends” to make 2017 a great year.
