Jennifer Lawrence stopped by CBS’s 60 Minutes and talked about how the news about Harvey Weinstein’s sexual misconduct scandal made her feel. It is safe to say that the actress is really sincere about it!

What he did was criminal and deplorable, and when he came out, and I heard about it, I wanted to kill him. The way he has destroyed so many women’s lives … I want to see him in jail, “Jennifer said.

As you probably already know, Weinstein has been accused by a shocking number of women in the industry of harassment and sexual abuse.

Jen, as well as Meryl Streep, were not involved in the scandal for a long time without their consent (shocker!) When they were cited in a legal response filed by the disgraced producer’s legal team.

This legal response actually quotes the comments of the two actresses in the past by using them as a defense of Harvey’s character.

“These women would include Jennifer Lawrence, who told Oprah that she knew Weinstein since she was 20 years old and said he was only nice to me, and Meryl Streep, who publicly declared that Weinstein told him has always been respectful of their working relationship, “reads the document.

Meryl Streep slammed the response, calling it ‘pathetic and exploitative.’

Meanwhile, Lawrence stated that: ‘Harvey Weinstein and his company are continuing to do what they’ve always done which is take things out of context and use them for their own benefit. This is what predators do, and it must stop. For the record, while I was not personally victimized by Harvey Weinstein, I stand behind all the women who have survived his terrible abuse, and I applaud them in using all means necessary to bring him to justice whether through criminal or civil actions. Time is up.’
