Reason Why Rihanna ‘Disappointed’ In Ex Chris Brown For Grabbing Female Friend’s Neck In Photos
According to a source close to the superstar, she is now happier than ever that it’s over between them. Apparently, Rihanna is really ‘upset’ that her controversial ex, Chris Brown was caught wrapping his hands around a woman’s throat. Knowing the infamous domestic abuse scandal that involved Brown and Rihanna, that definitely did not help his already tainted image in any way.
Everyone, including his ex, was hoping Chris Brown has changed since the incident, but after pics surfaced of him with his hands around a female friend’s neck, people are outraged.
That being said, we hear that even though both Brown and the woman in question insist it was just a playful gesture, Rihanna still feels very much let down by him.
The source told us how the singer reacted to the snaps, saying: ‘Rihanna just had all the bad memories dredged up by that horrible Snapchat ad. The last thing she needs is for people to be talking about Chris Brown being violent with women again. It is upsetting to her because inevitably it drags her back into something she really just wants to forget.’
Rihanna does believe that the two were just playing around when the pics were taken during a Miami party on March 26.
However, she is still disappointed in his actions due to their unpleasant history.
‘It seems pretty clear that Chris was just goofing around, but he is not getting a pass from Rihanna on this. It is just a bad look — period. After everything they went through, she is disappointed that he would even play around like that. It is just more proof to her that she made the right choice by moving on,’ the insider added.
But Chris remains unapologetic – The man took to social media to address the controversy, writing: ‘Thanks for all of the publicity today. Y’all know damn well I ain’t going down that road. There’s no need to even defend myself on this matter. Everyone that is around (girl/guy) are my homies. No foul play… No ignorant shit. End of discussion. Love.’
