Tiny Must Be Really Proud Of Her Man: T.I. Lifted Boycott Against Houston’s Restaurant Following The Addressing Of Racial Issues — Go Viral
Tiny Harris’ husband is pretty busy these days and here’s the latest thing that he did. The rapper called off his boycott of Atlanta restaurant Houston’s after he sat down with the executives to discuss the alleged racism showed by them.
Tip had a few meetings with these executives since October 2017. He first imposed the boycott after more African Americans patron have claimed that the restaurant would not set them, according to TMZ.
Tip’s boycott got lots of support from ‘Love And Hip Hop Atlanta’ star Mama Dee, and she and her own group were not served in the restaurant.
According to the report, Houston’s restaurant will not racially discriminate, and it will shortly employ more minorities. It also seems that the dress code is set to be changed as well.
The parent company of Houston’s restaurant is Hillstone Restaurant Group, and this did not immediately return a request for comment.
T.I. took to Instagram in October to alert his followers of the plan.
‘#BoycottHoustons #HoustonsWeHaveAProblem #ShutItDown #USorELSE,’ he captioned the photo.
The management team assured Tip that the dress code would change and this means that he managed to have a small but significant victory.
The company’s stance before the latest implementations and changes stressed a zero tolerance on racial profiling.
The restaurant chain was definitely not in a fighting mood, so it has made all the necessary arrangements with Mama Dee and the others. T.I. seems to make quite a meaningful difference in other’s lives and his wife must be really proud of him. Good job, Tip!
